As you all know a week ago Tim Cook took the wraps off from the two new iPhones, a 4.7" iPhone 6 and the massive 5.5" iPhone 6 Plus. Both the devices are stunning and are made out of aluminium and are said to be way better than the predecessor. The new iPhone 6 is the most incredible device Apple has ever launched and it is also the most thickest. Let's take a look at the iPhone 6.
Before the official announcement there was a huge hype about the device, it was in the headlines for the last 3 months or so. Anyways looking at the device I must say Apple hasn't disappointed its fans. iPhone 6 resembles to the iPod touch a bit but it has a 4.7" display. It's Apple's most innovative and thinnest iPhone yet. It has a unique glass, Apple calls it the lon-strengthened glass which makes swiping really easy. The new display allows you to see every tiny detail of the content you are watching on the device. The Retina HD LCD on the iPhone 6 has a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels, that makes a pixel density of just 326ppi. But an update will come later which will improve the resolution of the device. The display also offers wider angle viewing and delivers stunning performance with high contrast. The aluminium made body is only 6.9mm thick. iPhone 6 will have three color options Silver, Gold and Space Grey.
Apple has used its new A8 chip in the iPhone 6 which means you'll get 25% CPU and 50% GPU boost. The A8 chip is remarkably efficient, it uses the 20-nanometer process and delivers incredible gaming performance. Now you can get the most out of the device. Apple also introduced its NFC payment system, now you can also make payments with your new iPhone thanks to the new feature called Apple Pay which uses the NFC of your device to make payments. Apple also introduced VoLTE which allows you to make calls over Wifi. T-Mobile will offer this service in the US and EE will offer it in the UK. Iphone 6 also has 3x faster Wifi connectivity than the original iPhone. Touch ID is also improved now. With the new Touch ID sensor the security is on your fingertips. Its now more advance and fast.
The M7 co-processor is now replaced by the new M8 co-processor which now has barometer which can keep track of every place you go even every step you take. Apple also claims that the iPhone 6 has better battery life than its predecessor iPhone 5s. Apple has used the same 8MP iSight camera in the iPhone 6 but it says the camera is improved this time. Now it can record 1080p videos at 60 fps. Moreover it also can record Slo-mo video at 120 fps and 240 fps. The camera still has the digital stabilization, so there is no OIS. iPhone 6 will be running on the iOS 8 which will take full advantage of the new iPhone's display.
The 16GB model of the iPhone 6 will cost $199 on a two year contract and the 64GB variant will cost $299 and 128GB variant will cost $399 which means there will be no 32GB option. Apple will start shipping the device on 19th September and you can pre-order the device right now.
