HP put on a great show on the Sunday evening. They announced several attractive devices. HP introduced seven different devices which include the all-in-one HP Slate 21 pro which boots the Android 4.3 software. Let’s take a quick look at the devices:

HP

HP Slate 21 Pro
The Slate 21 Pro is the most attractive of them all running on the Android 4.3 software. As the name suggests the device has a massive 21.5 inches IPS optical touchscreen full HD display (two touch points) with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. What’s new about the HP Chromebook 11? Well as the name suggests the Chromebook 11 is an 11 inch laptop and has specifications just like a tablet. Chromebook is a budget machine running the Chrome OS. The machine offers quite decent user experience and is more appealing to kids. The machine is more preferable for only home use. The device costs only $279 and got some attractive looks and stunning colors.

HP Chromebook 11

The 11.6 inches display on the Chromebook 11 is quite nice and bright. The IPS display looks great along with the sharp and colorful design. The display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which is better than most of machines in this territory. It works with the Chromecast for media sharing.  It’s ideal for the users who only wants to surf the internet and wanna enjoy the Chrome OS. The colorful Chromebook 11 looks cute and packs decent specifications. But inside the device there is nothing special to share. There is only 16GB in-built storage to store data.

HP Chromebook 11 is quite similar to the Samsung Series 3 Chromebook and has the same ARM processor and battery life. This machine also lacks touchscreen like the Samsung Chromebook. So the design is changed but the specifications are quite similar in both the Chromebooks. HP Chromebook looks way better than the Samsung Series 3 Chromebook but it has fewer ports and even costs $30 more. So in my opinion the Samsung's Chromebook might have lacked charm and attractive looks but it had better specifications.

Chromebook

HP Chromebook 11 has a dual-core Exynos ARM processor along with the 2GB of RAM which delivers enough speed for multitask and web surfing. Google also offers 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years with the machine. So HP has put enough specs in the device to make it popular and its astonishingly fast performance makes it differ from other budget Chromebooks. However the device lacks micro SD card slot and HDMI port. The ChomeOS is designed for smooth web surfing and is known for its fast booting up. It is awesome for casual home use. So at a price of $279 you get a nice little and portable laptop.

Early this year HP released the Chromebook Pavilion 14 and now again HP has announced the Chromebook 14 with the lightning fast latest Haswell Processors from Intel. The machine is engineered for the price conscious crowd starting at only $299. HP said this one was built from the ground up to be a Chromebook.

Colorful and Sleek but Heavy Body
The machine looks beautiful and premium from outside thanks to the soft matte exterior finish but after opening the device the faux-metal plastic looks extremely cheap. The machine is available in strikingly rich colors which include coral peach, ocean turquoise and snow white. Other than the design the device also offers seamless 14 inches BrightView HD display with a not so impressive resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The machine is also ridiculously heavy weighing 4.08lbs. Chromebook 14 features HDMI port along with 2 USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 and a Micro SD card slot.

The eye-catching device is powered by the latest Haswell processors which lets you access your favorite Google Apps and websites instantly on the big 14 inches display. The Intel HD Graphics along with 2GB DD3 (or Optional 4GB) RAM gives the machine lightning fast access to the web. HP's TrueVision HD camera helps you capture 720p videos along with vivid face calls.

100GB Google Drive Storage & 4G Connectivity
With the HP Chromebook 14 you get 16GB of internal storage but the machine also offers 100GB of Google Drive Storage which lets you store bunch of movies and games for two years. In Connectivity the machine offers Wi-fi and Bluetooth 4.0 but the surprise is the optional 4G connectivity which will arrive later and will cost a bit more than the Wi-fi version of the device.

Impressive Battery life & Chrome OS
The cool looking Chromebook gives you an impressive battery life of 9.5 hours with continuous use. Along with the Chrome OS, the machine offers promising lightning fast response. The operating system gives you access to the thousands of Apps available on the Chrome Web store. Along with the instant start-up the Chromebook 14 also offers built-in Virus protection and automatic apps and security updates.

Although the features of the device aren't that much impressive but at a price of $299, the Chromebook 14 lets you experience the Chrome OS at a cheap rate. The 4G model of the machine will cost $349. The device will be available before the holiday season so you have to wait a bit if you wanna grab the device.
