After a long time Sony has announced the mini version of its
flagship device the Xperia Z1. Sony has announced the Xperia Z1 compact in the
CES. The device has identical specs to the Xperia Z1 but only the display is
smaller.
Sony Xperia Z1 compact is truly a compact device having the same
high end specifications as its bigger sibling had. The mini version has a
4.3" 720p IPS triluminous display with a pixel density of 341ppi. Other
specs include a beefy 2GB RAM, Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2.2GHz Quad-core Krait 400
CPU and the same 20.7MP rear camera with OIS and LED flash. The device has
Android 4.3 out of the box but it will get Android 4.4 shortly after it's
released.
The connectivity options include NFC, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and
the standard 3G network. Moreover the device also offers an internal storage of
16GB while a micro SD card can add up to 64GB of more storage. The battery has
been reduced to 2300 mAh. Sony Xperia Z1 Compact will hit the market next month
in Lime, Black, Pink, White and Yellow colors. Sony hasn't announced the price
of the device.
