Samsung has introduced
the successor of Galaxy Camera. The Galaxy Camera 2 has an all new design and
some other notable changes.
The amount of RAM is
doubled in the successor along with a changed design. Moreover Galaxy Camera 2
also features NFC connectivity and is stuffed with a newer Android version.
Galaxy Camera 2 has a 1/2.3" BSI sensor which has an effective resolution
of 16.3MP. The camera comes with the Optical Image Stabilization and also has
21x Optical Zoom lens. It also has Xenon flash.
Samsung Galaxy Camera 2
packs a 720p 4.8 inches Super Clear LCD display (306ppi). It features a faster 1.6
GHz Quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. Galaxy Camera 2 has 8GB of
in-built storage out of which only 2.8GB is user accessible but storage can be
expanded up to 64GB (via micro SD card).
The device runs on the
Android 4.3, disappointing not to have Android 4.4 out of the box. Galaxy
Camera 2 lacks 3G/LTE connectivity as it lacks SIM card slot. Availability and
Pricing information is yet to be revealed.
