LG
has officially announced the next iteration of the Vu series of Phablets. But
this time there is no Optimus included in the name just like their recent
flagship device LG G2. This device will be called LG Vu 3.
This device features
rounded corners just like we saw on the Optimus G Pro, rather than the squarish
look we had on the previous Vu devices. But it maintains the 4:3 screens like
its predecessor. The third generation Vu phablet has a 5.2" IPS LCD
display with a resolution of 1280 x 960 and a pixel density of 307ppi. The
device is powered by an ultra-fast Snapdragon 800 chipset despite of having a
low screen resolution than the LG G2 which uses the same chipset.
Detailed
internal specs include a Quad-Core Krait 400 processor and an Adreno 330
chipset. LG Vu 3 also comes with a stylus which has a rubber tip for smooth
working. At the back there is a 13MP snapper and LG hasn't specified about the
OIS feature of the camera. The connectivity includes LTE-A and the LG Vu 3 also
has some extra software goodies like KnockOn, Qlink and Guest Mode just like we
saw on the recently launched LG G2. LG hasn't provided any information about
the availability of the device but the device is expected to break the covers
in Q4. Be
sure to check back the site for more information.
