Acer Liquid S2

As the IFA event date is inching closer things are getting to heat up. We are only 2 days away from the event and Acer has unveiled Liquid S2. This is the first device with 4K recording. The 4K capable smartphone looks awesome. 4K recording isn't the only feature that will surprise you, the device has got a bunch great high-end features. The smartphone has raised the excitement level for IFA event. Let's see what the device has got:

Display & Design:

The smartphone features a massive 6 inches IPS LCD display with full HD resolution 1080 x 1920 and has a pixel density of 367ppi. The ultra-responsive display uses the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the protection along with multi-touch. Acer Liquid S2 has a smooth back panel with a comfortable grip. There is a big 3300 mAh battery under the back panel. The device would make debut in Red and Black colors.

Processing & Capturing:

Acer Liquid S2 has a overwhelming 2.2GHz Quad-core Processor and a staggering 2GB RAM which gives the device insane speed and make the day to day tasks very easy. Another amazing thing about the device is the Snapdragon 800 chipset (the same one chipping inside the Sony Xperia Z Ultra) and an Adreno 330 GPU. The camera department is something where the device has got a lot to show. It has a 13MP primary camera which uses 28 mm wide angle lens with the help of which the device records 4K videos at high 60 fps. It also has slow motion video and panorama mode which can produce 27MP shots. There is a 2MP front cam which can record in 1080p HD resolution.

Software, Storage & Connectivity:

Acer Liquid S2 is skinned with the Android version 4.2.2 and runs on the Float UI. The on-board storage is 16GB but the micro SD slot supports up to a whooping 128 gigs of space. So you can store a lot in your device. Along with the Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G and GPS, the device also offers 4G LTE connectivity. So, all the latest connectivity options are available in the device. Storage and connectivity are not an issue for the device but the software and Float UI aren't examined yet.

Acer Liquid S2 is nice compact device which has all the high end features. The device has a good design, incredible display, ultra processor and chipset, unbelievable camera with 4K recording. So the device looks perfectly fine and is well competitive to other giants in the market. Acer has perfectly timed the announcement of the device. The device would be available in Red and Black colors in the Europe at the end of October, other regions have to wait a bit longer to grab the device. Pricing information has yet to be confirmed.
