Nokia Lumia 925 was announced a month ago, and now the device is up for pre-order in India. There is a tough competition in the market. Recently the Lumia 1020 outsold the Nokia's best selling 920 and 520. So couple of positive things going in Nokia's favour. At this time the launch of Nokia 925 can help them a lot. The Lumia 920 brought a cool design and an impressive software to the Lumia series, but the Lumia 925 brought a bunch of improvement from its predecessor. This device is more premium, lighter, thinner and solid than its predecessor. It's already up for the grabs in India, you can buy one for only 33000 Indian Rupees that's around 500 USD. Let's take a look at its features:

Display & Design:
Nokia Lumia 925 has the same display size that its predecessor had, but the Lumia 925 brings AMOLED technology to the display which caused the slimness of the device. Nokia Lumia 925 is built around on a 4.5" PureMotionHD + AMOLED touchscreen and has 720p resolution (1280 x 768). The body is made of aluminium which is an awesome update over its predecessor. This look more premium and has a thinner, lighter and solid body. There is a non-removable 2000 mAh battery under the back panel.

Processing & Capturing:
Nokia Lumia 925 uses the dual-core Krait Processor clocked at 1.5GHz and a Snapdragon chipset. The device offers only 16GB of internal storage and lacks micro SD card slot. This device features only 1 GB of RAM. Camera sensor is kept at 8.7MP, but the OIS with floating lens technology made the camera more eye catching. It can record things up to 1080p. There is also dual-flash for low light photography. The 1.3MP front cam serves for face calling.

Software & Inner Improvements:
Nokia Lumia 925 is running the Amber update out of the box, so buyers can enjoy the updated Microsoft's software with enhanced user interface. There are also some camera apps like SmartCamera app which helps you records high quality images with Action shot, Motion focus and burst shot. So the software is revamped to some extent. Other improvements include MeeGo lockscreen and Glance Screen. This device also has LTE and NFC connectivity.

Conclusion:
After eight months of its release eventually the Lumia 920 got its successor. The Lumia 925 brought revolution in the design. This has a light, thinner, premium and solid design which was missing in its predecessor. The chipset has been kept the same which is under question. There is a lot of talk about the Nokia Lumia 1020 at the moment so its not easy to make an impact on the market on the base of a premium design. So its a hard time for the successor let's see what the device will achieve in this part of time. Well its available in Black, White and Grey colors in India and costs only $500 for the unlocked version only vodafone users have the 32GB option.
